Administrator
North Shropshire
Temporary 2-3 weeks (There is a possibility the role will become TTP)
£12.60 per hour
Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours

Prince is working in partnership with our client to recruit an Administrator to join them on a temporary basis. This is a varied role, working closely with senior leaders and specialist teams to ensure the smooth operation of administration, finance, ICT, estates, and HR functions.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

Administration
• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, carers, and external professionals.
• Provide administrative support to senior leaders and committees.
• Manage statutory and contractual records, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Prepare reports and documentation for reviews, meetings, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee referrals, maintain accurate records, and support with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staff meetings and maintain up-to-date digital platforms.

Finance
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash and prepaid systems.
• Manage pupil premium income and expenditure in collaboration with leaders and finance teams.
• Process invoices, monitor budgets, and suggest cost efficiencies.
• Ensure smooth financial processes for staff starters and leavers.

HR
• Support recruitment processes, from advertising to interview coordination.
• Provide administrative support for staff reviews and appraisals.
ICT
• Be the first point of contact for IT-related queries.
• Liaise with external IT contractors to ensure swift resolution of issues.
• Support the development and security of ICT systems and equipment.

Facilities & Health and Safety
• Assist with the maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
• Monitor and record compliance checks, including fire safety and water safety.
• Support health and safety management and risk assessments.

Skills and Experience:
• Previous office-based experience, ideally in a similar or transferable role.
• Good administration experience
• Comfortable working in a customer facing environment
• An open minded, clam and personable character
• You must be a strong communicator and able to understand instructions
• IT literate including MS Office
• Own transport will be required due to company location
• You should be available to start immediately
