Are you a driven and experienced manufacturing engineer ready to take your career to the next level? Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services is seeking a Level 2 Manufacturing Engineer to lead process improvements and support shop floor operations in our Plating Lab.

What You'll Do
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance manufacturing performance
  • Develop and improve work instructions, tooling documentation, and inspection regimes
  • Investigate new processes and layouts to boost efficiency and compliance
  • Analyse production data and drive continuous improvement using Lean and statistical methods
  • Support equipment maintenance and optimise tooling master data in SAP
  • Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning
What We're Looking For
  • HND or higher in a mechanical discipline with strong CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and project delivery
  • Proven skills in structured problem-solving (5 Whys, 8D), process improvement (DMAIC, OEE), and technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of metal component processing and surface finishing
  • Advanced IT skills including ERP/MRP systems and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Mandatory training will be provided
  • Willingness to work flexibly and spend time in chemical-exposed environments
