Teaching Assistant
Salary Grade: Scale 3, point 5 - 6
Salary: FTE £24,790 - £25,183 pro rata actual salary £14,785.25 to £15,019.80
Working Pattern: Part time, term time
Working hours: 25 hours (5 days)
Contract type: Temporary contract until 31 August 2026

Midday Assistant
Salary Grade: Scale 1, point 2 - 3
Salary: FTE £23,656 - £24,027 hours pro-rata actual salary £3,290.23 to £3,341.83
Working Pattern: Part time, term time
Working hours: 5.83 hours per week term time only
Contract type: Temporary contract

The Headteacher, Governors and children of our inclusive school would like to appoint a friendly and self-motivated Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025.

You will:
1. To work under the guidance of teaching / senior staff to implement agreed work programmes
2. To assist the teacher in the planning cycle and the management & preparation of resources
3. To provide support for teaching staff across the school in an appropriate learning environment
4. Enjoy working with children with complex needs.
5. Have the skills, knowledge and experience or be willing to undertake training to support children with physical needs, autism and learning difficulties.
6. Work well with other staff and agencies.
7. Be well motivated, have a positive attitude and be emotionally resilient.
8. Have the ability to work in a 1:1 situation and to teach small groups or be willing to undertake training
9. Supporting children during lunchtime
10. Assisting with cleaning in the dining Hall
11. Supervising children on the playground
