Summary

Based at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 3 - Flexi

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations including working from council buildings and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

With an Angus wide remit, your main duties will involve working within the Caledonian Team, Justice Services. You will provide a high quality, proactive and holistic service with a range of support, through evidence-based interventions, to women who have experienced domestic abuse and whose partner or former partner is attending the Caledonian Men’s Programme. You will ensure risk assessments and safety planning are undertaken for women, working in partnership with Justice Services and Children’s Services colleagues. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting women affected by domestic abuse, are flexible in their approach and can provide trauma-informed, person-centred support.
