St Ann’s is a 23-bedded Lifehouse (hostel) supporting people experiencing homelessness in the West End of London.Night Concierge provide cover at St Ann’s from 22:15 to 08:15 7 days per week (including bank holidays). The role requires lone working and 10% night pay allowance is awarded when working nights. Night Concierge will provide assistance with Housing Management functions in our Lifehouse, including health & safety checks, and will be the first point of contact for everyone accessing St Ann’s.The role includes other front of house duties including answering telephone call, managing internal and external visitors to the Lifehouse; accurately recording messages, conducting follow up telephone calls, updating electronic logbooks and handover reports; carrying out administration tasks; completing building checks including patrols of the building and ensuring fire exits and external doors are free from obstruction, maintaining health & safety records including fire and other records; monitoring CCTV equipment.Night Concierge are also expected to engage with residents to maintain positive relationships and resolve conflict using de-escalation skills where appropriate.In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment subject to satisfactory references, proof of right to work in the UK, and an Enhanced DBS Disclosure check.
