Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team in Redditch.
Hours: The work hours will be on a rota basis week say 7am - 3pm and the following week 10am-6pm.
Duties will include:
Opening and closing the school, ensuring the site is safe and secure.
Carrying out basic maintenance, repairs, and general DIY tasks.
Ensuring health & safety standards are met.
Setting up rooms for school activities and events.
Monitoring cleaning standards and supporting with cleaning when required.
Acting as a key holder and responding to any site emergencies.
The ideal candidate will:
Be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Have previous caretaking/maintenance or similar experience (desirable but not essential).
Be able to work independently and take pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for staff and pupils.
Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the school.
