Summary

An opportunity has arisen at Sychdyn C.P. for a School Cleaner to join our team, taking pride in maintaining a safe, clean and secure environment for our learners by keeping cleanliness to a high standard and undertaking necessary procedures to assist with day-to-day maintenance.

As part of our wider school team, you will have responsibility for the overall cleanliness and security of the school classrooms and site, having awareness of security policies, maintaining supplies of cleaning materials, and working with other members of the site team to keep the site to a standard expected by the site manager and head teacher. Experience of undertaking general cleaning duties
Ability to manage time effectively in order to carry out day-to-day operations and assist with the smooth running of the school
Awareness of the relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working around children and young peopleAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues, acting in a courteous and professional manner at all times To work at all times within the Health and Safety requirementsTo work safely and responsibly when using chemicals and be aware of and follow COSHH RegulationsTo ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are safely stored at the end of the cleaning shiftEnhanced DBS check
