Hours: 10 hours per school term, over 39 weeks per academic year (60 hours per academic year), to be worked flexibly.
We have more than one vacancy available and are seeking candidates to support one or more of our schools in the South Gloucestershire area.
Most meetings take place in the evenings. However, the associated administrative tasks, such as typing up minutes, can be completed flexibly during the day or evening.

We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking Clerks to Governors to join our team. This flexible and part-time role allows you to support one, two, or three schools, depending on your availability and preference.
This role is perfect for individuals who excel in providing high-quality administrative support to governing bodies. By joining us, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the effective governance of our schools.As a Clerk to Governor, your responsibilities will include:
Administrative and Organisational Support: Offering comprehensive administrative support to the governing body, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining documentation.
Governance Guidance: Providing advice on governance, constitutional, and procedural matters to ensure the governing body complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
Procedural Advice: Guiding the governing body on procedural issues to facilitate efficient meetings and decision-making processes.
