Inglehurst Junior School would like to recruit an experienced, talented and dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team.

We pride ourselves on giving our children whatever they need to succeed and thrive and no one is left behind.The role:The role will involve teaching across the school, covering PPA time, as well as some additional cover (leadership time, ECT time and planned and unplanned absence). Weekly non-contact time will be given.Ideally we are looking for someone who can start after October half term, though there will be flexibility with regards to the start date for the right candidate.The right candidate will:
Have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above, further training or relevant qualifications and HLTA status.Be an excellent, energetic and focused classroom practitioner, experienced in successfully leading whole classes across KS2.Have high expectations of all children in the areas of achievement and behaviour.Have the ability to work proactively, following and adapting lesson plans to deliver lessons which enable pupils to make at least age-related progress.Effectively mark pupil work, using feedback and assessment tools where appropriate to ensure progress.Understand how children learn and recognise the abilities of different groups of pupils including more able and vulnerable groups of children (including those with SEND and SEMH needs, and children for whom English is an additional language).Work well as part of a team and able to develop positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents.Be positive, flexible and patient with the ability to adapt to the needs of the school and our pupils.We offer:
