Hayesfield Girls’ School is seeking to appoint a School Administrator to join their administrative team on a part-time basisSalary: £26,403- £27,694 per annum, pro rata (Grade 4 SPC 7-10)Actual salary: £11,241-£11,790 per annumWorking hours: 18.5 hours per week worked across 3 days (Wednesday to Friday)Working pattern: 9.00am to 4pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break on Wednesdays and Thursdays and 9.30am to 3.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break on Fridays.Closing date: Monday 15th September at 9am.Interview date: To be confirmedThe role:This is a part-time, 18.5 hours per week position, term time plus three INSET days.As a School Administrator, you'll be a vital part of our administrative team, providing high-quality support to ensure the smooth running of the school. You'll be the go-to person for a variety of tasks, from preparing important documents and correspondence to assisting with key school events like parents' evenings and open mornings. You will also be the welcoming face of our school, providing cover for the reception and ensuring all visitors and callers receive a professional welcome.Requirements:
Essential to the role is that the candidate has:
A good general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.Proven experience in a busy office environment with a strong customer service focus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong IT skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Good organizational and time management skills.A professional and confident manner, with the ability to use your own initiative.A positive outlook, strong work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure.We offer:An opportunity to be part of a well-respected, top achieving and oversubscribed secondary school
