Summary
Full-Time SEN Teacher - Lewisham
£180-£270 per day Immediate Start Full Academic Year
We're seeking a confident and experienced qualified teacher (not an ECT) to join a specialist setting in Lewisham on a full-time basis, five days per week. This is an ongoing role expected to run until the end of the academic year, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastoral lead for a KS4 form group of 10 Year 10 pupils
- Teach Maths (up to GCSE) and Science (to Entry Level) across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver additional sessions in ASDAN, PSHE, and similar subjects
- Responsible for your own planning
- Supported by 1-2 TAs in each class
Learner Profile:
Pupils present with a range of SEN needs, including:
- Autism
- Speech and language difficulties
- Emotional and behavioural challenges
This role suits a teacher with strong SEN experience, excellent classroom management, and a nurturing approach.
Language Requirement:
Applicants must have English as their first language, or be so fluent they sound like a native speaker - clear communication is essential.
