We are looking for a skilled HGV 2 Driver to join our team and help deliver outstanding service to our clients across London and beyond.
Job Description
As an HGV 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting furniture and event equipment safely, efficiently, and on time. This role involves loading/unloading, ensuring secure transportation, and maintaining excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport furniture and event equipment to and from venues.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients.
• Assist with warehouse duties when required.
Requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) License
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience as an HGV Driver
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Flexible with working hours
