The Committee Officer is responsible, through the Team Leader -Administration, for assisting in the provision of a comprehensive range of services, which support the democratic decision-making process of the authority, as well as the corporate aims towards ensuring open and accountable local government.
The Committee Officer is responsible for assisting in ensuring the effective service provision and implementation of Council procedures and legislation and statutory procedures relating to meetings and electoral administration. The Section aims to provide a high quality and accessible service to all customers, including elected Members, the public, and officer colleagues and outside agencies.
