Level 1 and level 2 swimming teachers required to deliver our swim programme.

As a swimming instructor you are responsible for ensuring the safety of all users of the leisure centre with particular attention being made to those users in swimming lessons. In this role, you will be required to follow your training and ensure that you deliver lessons to a high standard as expected.

The successful candidate will help deliver the key objectives of the contract and any promotions that the leisure centre is running.

You will be required to work on setting out equipment as required. You will deliver classes as outlined in the swimming timetable. These will range from adult and child through to competitive classes along with following the National Plan For Teaching Swimming.

The role requires a high standard of interaction with customers. You may also be expected to complete other duties assigned to you by your line manager. Monthly trainings need to be attended to ensure your qualifications remain valid.

You will have experience in a similar role is desirable however not essential. You should have ASA Level 2 Swimming Instructor and NPLQ to qualify for this role. We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude with customer focus and service skill. Any additional skills will be an advantage.
