Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Female Care Assistant to support an individual living with a brain injury in Oldham. This part-time position is ideal for someone with prior care experience who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Please note: Due to the personal care needs and preferences of the client, this role is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 (Occupational Requirement, Schedule 9, Part 1).

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.

Provide personal care and support, including assistance with mobility, hygiene, and dressing.

Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and attending appointments.

Support with rehabilitation goals, working alongside healthcare professionals as needed.

Ensure a safe and supportive home environment at all times.

Promote the individual’s independence and dignity while providing appropriate levels of support.

Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns or changes in health or behaviour.

Must be female, due to the personal nature of the care.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Previous experience in care (especially brain injury or complex care) is highly desirable.

Compassionate, reliable, and flexible approach to work.

Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
