Summary
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist visitors in a warm, professional manner
Provide a full range of reception duties in line with our hospitality procedures
Ensure the reception area is always clean, tidy, and presentable
Answer and direct telephone calls following established procedures
Manage cash handling accurately, reporting discrepancies immediately
Operate the centre's booking systems and equipment hire procedures
Record booking-related communication in Outlook with date and initials
Maintain and organise filing systems, produce letters and reports
Set up and clear down conference rooms daily, including moving tables and chairs
Assist with cleaning schedules across the reception and wider centre
Provide food and drink service to delegates as per guidelines
Support kitchen hygiene standards in line with health regulations
Log and report complaints, accidents, or incidents promptly to the Centre Manager
Prepare invoices for both corporate and community bookings
Occasionally support other duties as directed by management within your skill set

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational and time-management abilities
Basic computer literacy (including Microsoft Outlook and Word)
A proactive approach to cleanliness and attention to detail
Physically capable of moving and setting up furniture (e.g. tables and chairs) daily
Please note shifts will vary and you will be required to work shifts between the hours 8am -9pm
