Night Veterinary Nurse – Wimbledon
• Join a state-of-the-art RCVS Accredited practice, complete with an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics.
• Enjoy a varied and stimulating caseload, from routine procedures to ECC and referral work alongside surgical and cardiology specialists.
• Work nights with the support of an experienced on-site Veterinary Surgeon and a dedicated management team available when needed.
• Earn a competitive salary from £25,000 - £34,500 FTE DOE & a generous benefits package, while thriving in the vibrant and green surroundings of Wimbledon.
This RCVS Accredited practice is also proud to hold an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics, making it the perfect place for feline enthusiasts as well as those passionate about providing exceptional care for all patients.
The practice offers a diverse caseload, ranging from routine procedures through to emergency and critical care. With its own first opinion client base and support for surrounding practices with internal referral cases, no two nights will ever be the same. In addition, the practice provides specialist work alongside an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, cardiologist, and physiotherapist, ensuring that the clinical exposure is both challenging and rewarding.
The successful candidate will be an experienced RVN, ideally with a background in ECC, and confident in managing night cases and wards. Working closely with an experienced on-site veterinary surgeon during each shift, you’ll ensure patients receive exemplary overnight care during their hospital stay. You’ll also have the reassurance of support from the clinical management team during the day if needed.
Outside of work, Wimbledon offers the best of both worlds — a bustling town atmosphere with excellent shops, restaurants, and cafes, alongside the stunning open green spaces of Wimbledon Common. With its excellent transport links into central London, it’s a fantastic location for both work and leisure!
