Summary
Morson Talent is currently recruiting for experienced SC Cleared Painters, with Train The Painter Qualifications, to support ongoing projects at HMNB Clyde, Faslane.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all legal and procedural regulations.
- Perform surface preparations and apply coatings by brush or roller.
- Interpret and follow paint manufacturer's technical and safety data sheets.
- Support and guide team members on application techniques and best practices.
- Ensure high-quality standards in all aspects of surface preparation and coating.
- Maintain clean working areas and ensure all equipment is properly protected.
- Use access equipment such as scaffolding and mobile platforms.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable: experience on nuclear or construction sites.
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing work demands.
- Positive team contributor with a collaborative approach.
- Honest, open, and professional attitude.
Qualifications & Training:
Essential:
- Train the Painter Bronze, Silver or Gold
Pay Rates (Bronze Rates. Silver & Gold Available)
PAYE - Basic: £16.74, OT1: £22.27, OT2: £27.97
UMBRELLA PAYE - Basic: £21.88, OT1: £28.71, OT2: £36.06
Taxable travel payment to Faslane:
PAYE - £15.00 per shift
UMBRELLA PAYE - £19.50 per shift
Taxable lodge allowance for travelling workers:
PAYE - £51.26 per shift
UMBRELLA PAYE - £66.64 per shift
Work Arrangements
38 standard hours a week, 08:00 - 16:15 Monday to Friday, shift and overtime a possibility but not guaranteed.
29 days holiday annually (inclusive of bank holidays)
4 month initial contract
The successful candidate will need to hold SC security clearance in order to fulfil this role.
