We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our catering team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong knowledge of coffee preparation, and is committed to excellent customer service.
As a Barista, your main duties will include:
-Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, hot beverages, and light snacks to a consistently high standard.
-Maintaining food safety and allergen awareness at all times, ensuring compliance with Mite and NHS.
-Managing stock levels for coffee, milk, and related supplies, and keeping service areas replenished.
-Operating tills and handling cash accurately, where required.
-Ensuring all equipment, workstations, and service areas are clean, tidy, and safe.
What we're looking for:
-Previous Barista experience with the ability to work under pressure and unsupervised, where required.
-Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen procedures.
-Excellent communication skills with a professional and approachable manner.
-A strong team player who also works confidently on their own initiative.
-Adaptability, reliability, and attention to detail.
-Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Desirable (but not essential):
-Basic Food Safety certificate (training will be provided).
-Experience in a catering or hospitality environment.
