Details:
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager/Supervisor on a contract for approximately 18 months. The role will be primarily site based in Invergordon with transport available on a daily basis from Inverness if required.
Summary
This role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within projects, particularly in construction and engineering.
Duties include conducting site inspections, advising on risk assessments, and supporting the investigation of incidents to improve safety performance and promote a strong safety culture
Person Specification
Education:
A relevant degree in environmental health or a related field,
Professional diploma including IOSH and NEBOSH or equivalent.
Experience:
Experience in HSE management systems and a strong understanding of construction-related health and safety practices are beneficial.
Personal Attributes:
Strong communication skills, the ability to promote a positive safety culture, and a proactive approach to health and safety are important.
Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
