Job Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in the bakery and kitchen areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, equipment, and floors in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with waste disposal and ensure proper segregation and disposal of rubbish.
- Support the team in maintaining a tidy and organised workspace throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies during cleaning activities.
- Assist with other general cleaning tasks as required to support daily operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within a food production or hospitality environment would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of hygiene and safety standards relevant to food preparation areas.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to start at 12:45 pm if a 15-minute break is desired, or from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm - Monday to Friday - 20 hours in total.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
