Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Work with students 1:1 and in small groups to reinforce learning

Assist with planning, resources, and general classroom management

Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff
-
Build positive relationships with students to support both academic and personal development

Gain first-hand experience in a secondary school setting ahead of a PGCE or teacher training route
What We’re Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you should have:

A 2:1 degree (or higher) in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, or a related subject

A strong academic background, including A-levels and GCSEs
-
Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
-
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting young people in a classroom setting
-
Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is beneficial but not essential
