An opportunity has arisen for a for a band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Unit (Private Care) at The Royal Marsden. The post holder will work under the supervision of the Matron and Lead Nurse.

The post holder has a distinct level of responsibility to patients treated within the Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery unit at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust to provide a comprehensive specialist nursing service. There is a requirement to work cross-site including Fulham Road and Sutton.

Provision of specialist high quality, expert nursing care and support for patients undergoing plastic surgery and for their carers.

To act as a resource for patients and the clinical team by the provision of comprehensive specialist advice, information, teaching and training both within the Royal Marsden and externally.

Update own knowledge to promote excellence in advanced clinical

To critically appraise evidence based literature and to use this knowledge to lead in house educational programs training staff and students.
