NOW HIRING: Press Brake Setter / Operator – Telford
Owen Payne Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a leading Steel Manufacturing company in the Telford area to recruit a Press Brake Setter/Operator on Nights!
As a Press Brake Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brake machines to produce high-quality precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and production requirements. You will work with minimal supervision and contribute to a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of Work:
• Monday to Thursday – 16:30 till 05:00
• 48 Hour working week
Pay & Benefits:
• Up to £13.50 per hour (for the first 39 hours; overtime rate of x1.33 for remaining 9 hours)
• Monthly timekeeping & attendance bonus – up to £60.00 per month

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings to ensure parts are produced to specification
• Carry out first-off inspection and ensure consistent quality throughout production runs
• Make adjustments to programs and machine settings as required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company H&S procedures
• Report any issues with machinery or production to the supervisor in a timely manner
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience setting and operating CNC Press Brakes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Confident in working independently and producing parts to tight tolerances
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic
• Experience using Amada and/or Coastone press brake machines
