As our client continues to grow, they have a great opportunity for a dedicated Service Engineer to join their Environment & Safety Division in London.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Water Consultancy & Equipment Team, you will be a motivated, dependable, and committed Service Engineer. Your tasks will include (but are not limited to):
- Servicing water treatment equipment such as softeners, reverse osmosis units, ozone units, side stream filtration units, and UV units.
- Carrying out water analysis, sampling, and Legionella screening.
- Conducting fault-finding and completing remedial works on water treatment equipment.
- Providing clear and detailed service and water treatment reports.
- Ensuring service visits are completed efficiently within the allocated time.
- Adhering to all current Health & Safety legislation.
- Replacing consumable spares as per site maintenance schedules.
- Travelling, with occasional nights and weekend work.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 2 years of UK field engineering experience working with water treatment equipment.
- Good reporting and communication skills.
- The ability to read equipment manuals and implement detailed procedures.
- A positive, problem-solving attitude.
- The ability to travel around London and its outskirts.

Our client's Water Consultancy Team provides essential services such as statutory water hygiene tasks, chemical and microbiological analysis of various systems, including cooling towers and domestic water systems. Their Water Equipment Engineers manufacture their own equipment in-house, fully supported with CAD schematics. They are committed to their employees' personal and professional development, offering both transversal and linear career pathways. This client is also BIM Level 2 compliant.
