Full-time: 35 hours per week

The School of Divinity is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Research Support Administrator to provide specialist administrative support and guidance for a broad range of the School’s research activities, including responsibility for supporting academic staff to submit larger research grant applications; post-award administration and support for a portfolio of complex research grants; leading on support for knowledge exchange and impact, the Research Excellence Framework and open research.



This post would suit those looking to further a career in research administration by leading School support in a variety of areas. Applications from those with experience of working in a similar or supporting role for application development, post-award support, REF and KEI are particularly welcome.



This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.



The salary for this post is £34,610 to £39,906 per annum.



Your skills and attributes for success:

Previous experience of supporting and developing research grant applications, post award administration and budget management and monitoring
Proven high quality communication, liaison, presentation and relationship building skills, with evidence of the ability to persuade and negotiate
A commitment to accuracy and high attention to detail, particularly in maintaining financial-related data
Highly developed time management skills, with experience of dealing with conflicting demands and prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sustain a high level of performance under pressure
