Company Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of our Client who are long-standing, well-established company based in Halesowen with a strong reputation for reliability, quality, and excellent service. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated General Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out general operative duties across the workshop and site.
• Operate forklift trucks (FLT Counterbalance licence or experience required).
• Drive the company van as and when required (full UK driving licence essential).
• Work to picking lists to ensure accurate order processing.
• Perform fettling and shot blasting tasks.
• Carry out pressure testing duties.
• Liaise with the Quality Department to report and resolve any product issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading and movement of materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Support colleagues and supervisors to achieve production and operational targets.

Skills & Requirements:
• Full UK driving licence – essential.
• FLT Counterbalance licence or relevant experience – essential.
• Overhead Crane (OHC) licence – preferred but not essential (training may be provided).
• Previous experience with order processing, picking lists, fettling, shot blasting, or pressure testing is desirable.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
