Summary
Morson Talent are recruiting for SC Cleared Rope Access Scaffolders for work at HMNB Clyde Faslane.
This is a great opportunity to work on critical infrastructure within one of the UK’s major naval dockyards and join a skilled, experienced team where safety, precision, and quality are key.
The Opportunity
We are currently sourcing multiple rope access scaffolders to assist with onsite works at HMNB Clyde Faslane. The candidate must have the ability to erect, dismantle and alter scaffold as part of a scaffolding team.
Key Responsibilities
The Scaffolder should be able to demonstrate and have knowledge of:
• Statutory regulations and safety requirements relating to the erection and dismantling of scaffolds.
• The regulations governing inspection of scaffolds.
• Make adequate provision for the safety of themselves, the workforce, the public affected by scaffolding work, and future users of the scaffold structure by working to the relevant British and European Standards, NASC guidance and statutory regulations.
• Inspect scaffolds prior to handover.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Scaffolders will be expected to be competent in traditional tube and fitting and ideally ringlock system trained, i.e. (Layher / Metrix or similar)
Qualifications & Requirements
• CISRS Certification (Part 1 /Part 2 /Advance)
• IRATA Level 1 – Rope Access
• Hold SC Clearance
Security Requirements
Successful candidates must be hold current SC Clearance
Pay Rates & Allowances
PAYE - Basic: £300.00 p/day (Backshift £350.00 p/day)
UMBRELLA PAYE Basic: £399.74 p/day (Backshift £466.42 p/day)
Taxable lodge allowance for travelling workers
PAYE - £50.65 per day
UMBRELLA PAYE - £65.84 per day
Taxable travel payment for travelling workers
PAYE - £15.00 per day
UMBRELLA PAYE - £19.50 per day
Work Arrangement
21 days annual leave + statutory bank holidays
39-hour basic week, with overtime available (Weekend and overtime work may be required based on business needs).
Minimum 4 month contract
