Contract: Full Time Salary: £29,460 Per Annum Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40Watford House is a welcoming 36-bed residential home in the beautiful High Peak, offering high-quality Residential, Respite and Dementia care.
We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager and help lead our home to success. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to make a real impact, guiding and inspiring our team while ensuring residents receive the very best care.
What We Offer
- £29,460 per annum
- Contracted to 40 hours per week (split between office-based duties and working on the floor)
- Weekend working required

- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
What You Will Do
As Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Home Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the home, maintaining exceptional standards of care and compliance. You will lead, mentor and inspire the team, supporting their training and development to achieve their full potential. You will oversee medication audits and administration, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times. When required, you will step into the Home Manager’s role, demonstrating strong leadership and sound decision-making to keep the home running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, proven experience in medication auditing and administration, and a strong track record of leading a care team. You should have excellent communication skills, a supportive approach to developing staff, and the confidence to take on management responsibilities when needed.
