About the Client
Our client is an international services and investment company with operations across the UK and MENA region. They specialise in procurement, logistics, and supplier management across oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure projects.
The Role:

As Procurement Coordinator, you will:

Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle for goods and services.

Liaise with international suppliers and MENA-based clients.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with global suppliers.

Oversee stockholding and inventory of fast-moving items.

Support ERP adoption (SAP S/4HANA / SAP Ariba).

Ensure compliance with procurement laws, standards, and ethics.

Monitor supplier performance and manage corrective actions.

Provide cost evaluations and risk assessments for procurement strategies.

Mentor staff and support digital transformation initiatives.

Work in a dynamic environment, with occasional flexibility outside of standard hours to meet operational needs.

Ensure procurement operations are compliant with legal, ethical, and company standards.

Provide market analysis, cost evaluations, and risk assessments for procurement strategies.

Develop procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to strengthen efficiency.

Train and mentor staff in procurement processes and systems.

Handle procurement in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, responding promptly to urgent requests and unexpected issues.

Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with project timelines and operational needs.

Utilise Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports, data analysis, presentations, and procurement documentation.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

UK resident with at least 7 years’ experience in procurement, logistics, or commercial roles.
Strong experience working with MENA suppliers/customers.
Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
ERP experience (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/MS Office.
Strong integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical procurement.
