Summary

School Administrator Job Opening: Addington

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented School Administrator to join our team in Addington. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with autism and learning difficulties in a special free school environment. We're looking for someone who is immediately available and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

As a School Administrator, you'll be the backbone of our school's operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a school administration setting.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with school database systems; Arbor experience is a plus.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A GCSE in English or Maths (graded A*-C / 9-4) or an equivalent qualification.

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding legislation (Child Protection, Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Inclusion).

  • Experience working with children or adults with special educational needs or disabilities is highly desirable.
