Summary
JOB TITLE: Shift EIC Technician
REPORTING TO: Shift Engineering Team Leader
JOB SUMMARY
The Shift EIC Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of the waste treatment facility assets and associated infrastructure, including operational monitoring of functional odour abatement systems and the SCADA system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Duties
- Planned maintenance works in accordance with the detailed works packs, and adherence to defined schedules.
- Carryout odour abatement system plant monitoring, recording, sampling and adjustments in line with operational parameters.
- Planned preventative maintenance of all operational odour abatement systems, electrical, instrumentation and control systems within the waste treatment facility.
- Reactive response to equipment and process system faults and breakdowns.
- Provide basic control room and weekend weighbridge duties as necessary.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping standards within all work-related areas.
- Coordination of sub-contractor activities as required.
- Provide maintenance and operational support cover on a 24 / 7 basis through the 5-shift system.
Administrative Support
- Attend business meetings and safe start as scheduled.
- Effective utilisation of the company business systems (MainSaver, SCADA, SharePoint).
- Maintain effective communications and feedback through detailed handovers and written shift logbooks.
- Administration of the company safe systems of work (PTW & LOTO procedures).
Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Work in accordance with the company Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality policy and procedures.
- Undertake duties related to incident management and emergency response.
- Perform all duties in a safe and compliant manner.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The post holder is directly accountable and responsible to the Shift Engineering Team Leader.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
The post holder will not have any direct reports.

- Facilitate clear and timely communication, among all staff and departments, ensuring seamless support and guidance for efficient delivery of the service.
- Represent the Department and the Company at internal and external meetings, events, and conferences.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Maintain up to date knowledge of appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental statutory and regulatory legislation, to include internal policy and procedures.
- Participate in any relevant training specific to the effective delivery of LRL operation.
- Participate in the annual Personal Development Appraisals and be responsible for personal education and continued professional development, maintaining a continuing professional development portfolio.
