Summary
To manage paediatric home enteral feeding caseload, ensure supply of feeds/equipment, and deliver outpatient clinics (community, virtual, and school), prioritising referrals per HCT standards. To provide specialist dietetic assessments/interventions, including neonatal and inpatient support at Lister Hospital, safe discharge planning, and monitoring of nutritional products. To deliver education to patients, families, carers, and professionals; develop/evaluate staff training; and support safeguarding in dietetic care. To safely use and guide others on home enteral feeding systems, tailoring advice to patients/carers with clear communication. To adjust dietary recommendations to fit home, school, and hospital settings, ensuring care is practical and sustainable. To promote wellbeing, obtain valid consent, support realistic nutrition goals, stay evidence-based, and contribute to HCT nutrition policy.
