Surrey Pay Grade PS4 £25,052 - £26,825 FTE (£23,210 - £24,853 pro-rata)
This role is 36 hours per week for 42 weeks.
Ash Manor School is a successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive school committed to providing an exceptional education for the community it serves.
We require a Food Technician to be responsible for the preparation of teaching materials, stock control and the cleaning and maintenance of all equipment for the department. There will also be some involvement with lessons through support for teaching staff and students. The department is extremely well equipped with three fully refurbished food technology classrooms. The Technician should ideally be comfortable with using all equipment in the department.
The successful candidate should ideally have related experience, be able to demonstrate initiative and be confident working with both staff and students in an extremely well-resourced and successful department. You must be a good communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. A practical awareness of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene is essential.
