Summary

We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Looked After Children Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post permanent qualified experience.

About the team

This team is responsible for undertaking ongoing assessment work and intervention with children and families. The team ensure plans are made for the children and the families, carrying out CLA plans and other relevent legislative assessments. This team operate to a admirbale service, providing themselves on the effective communication they have within the team.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree, DipSW, CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years' permanent experience is required for this post. The ability to complete court work and protect the children is essential in this role. Extensive assessment work, long term work and CP experience is part of the role. A valid and clean driving license and car is essential.
