Summary

The case load includes in-patients and out-patients and supports wards, clinics, ambulatory care, supportive day care and chemotherapy day care. In addition to working in multi-professional clinics there are several nurse-led clinics. You be involved in developing new services including PIFU, running patient support groups, evaluating the service and organising educational meetings. The post-holder works under the line management of the lead clinical nurse specialist and will be expected to cross cover CNS staff both within the leukaemia sub-specialty and other haematology specialties.
