A bit about us:

Little Barn is a brand-new family run nursery opening in January. Nestled in the beautiful countryside. Our setting is designed to feel like a warm, welcoming home-from-home nursery. With space for just 24 children each day and higher staff-to-child ratios than standard, we are creating an environment where children and educators alike can thrive.

We believe in giving our team time to breathe, reflect and reset – which is why every day ends with paid reflection time, so you can close each day feeling supported, valued, and prepared for tomorrow.

With a strong emphasis on outdoor play and nature-based learning, we are looking for nurturing, loving, and passionate educators to help us create an inspiring and caring environment for our children.

This is your chance to be part of something very special from the very start.

All about the role:

As a Nursery Educator, you will:

Provide high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 0–5.

Build strong, nurturing relationships with children and families.
Encourage curiosity and creativity through outdoor exploration and play-based learning.

Work collaboratively with a small, supportive team in a beautiful countryside setting.
Contribute ideas to shape our brand-new setting and bring our ethos to life.
Take part in daily reflection time with colleagues to reset, share, and grow together.

What We’re Looking For

A caring, nurturing personality with a genuine love for working with children.
Passion for outdoor play, child-led learning, and nature-inspired experiences.
A team player who is kind, reflective, and open to learning.
Level 2/3 in Early Years Education (or working towards this) preferred, but we also welcome applications from those with experience and passion who are eager to train.

What We Offer

A beautiful countryside nursery environment with a strong outdoor learning ethos.
Small group sizes with higher staff-to-child ratios than standard.
Paid reflection time at the end of every day.

Opportunities for training, growth, and involvement in shaping a brand-new nursery.
A supportive, passionate team that values wellbeing, creativity, and joy in learning.
Seasonal treats and little surprises to show our gratitude.
Free parking.
