Summary
Your new role
You'll be responsible for preparing cases for court, drafting legal documents, and appearing as advocate in court. A more senior role would involve additional line management responsibilities. You'll be supported by a knowledgeable and friendly team, with access to excellent case management tools and professional development opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a local council, and be familiar with a range of safeguarding policies. It would be desirable to have experience with the Childcare Act 1989, Mental Health Act 1983, and advocacy in public and private children's proceedings. A range of experience will be considered, from newly qualified, to 4-5 years PQE.
