Summary
Logistics and Trade Compliance Administrator
swindon or Royston
1 month contract
£22-28ph -PAYE
- Processing outbound dispatches, including pre-shipment checks, creation of Commercial Invoices and maintenance of shipping records both for UK domestic despatches and exports.
- Where JM is liable for the insurance of material, ensure that appropriate security measures have been taken in accordance with JM policy.
- Ensure advance planning of shipments to customers is co-ordinated with Customer support teams, Quality and Warehouse and Production departments to achieve deliveries within agreed timescales with correct quality at all times.
- Ensure compliance standards for all duty and customs controls, including documentation, correct use of tariff codes, and all required licenses as applicable.
- Commercial Invoice template maintenance
- Monitoring and management of HT Export and Domestic Transport Log, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data, coordinating with Warehouse teams to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor export status, ensure evidence of export declaration is provided and internal records maintained
