Summary
Property Lawyer in Westmorland area
Extensive knowledge in Biodiversity Net Gain, Nutrient Neutrality and planning agreements and planning law. Transactional experience in planning agreements and associated agreements. Ability to advise the Council and officers on planning related matters.
Work could include:
- Preparing for hearings and inquiries
- Dealing with planning appeals
- Leading on completion of S106 Agreements
- Advising at Planning Committees
- Highways and associated Agreements
- Planning Enforcement
To be personally responsible for conducting and managing, in accordance with the practice standards of Legal Services, a caseload of files, particularly of a more complex and corporately significant and/or higher risk nature for internal customers.
This is a full time temporary position on ongoing basis.
