Summary

Groundworker

£16.15 - £18.10 per hour

Winchester SO21, UK

McGinley are currently seeking an experienced Groundworker to join our team on a major construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drainage, excavation, reinstatement, and general groundwork. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Start date: 08/09/25

Duration: Ongoing

10 hours paid a day (50 hours a week)

Monday to Friday Day Shifts (Potential weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing general groundwork duties.
  • Assist in the installation of underground utilities, including water, gas, and electrical ducts.
  • Ensure work areas are prepared, materials are moved efficiently, and sites are kept tidy.

Requirements:

  • Blue CSCS card (Essential)
  • Experience in drainage, excavation, and groundwork
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential)
  • Safety critical Medical Preferred.
  • Highways pass will be needed (McGinley will provide)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations.
