The Role We are looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Urological Oncology to join our expanding Cancer Care team. As one of two CNSs, you will act as a keyworker, providing expert support, education and advocacy for patients throughout diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. You will work closely with consultants, specialist nurses and allied health professionals, ensuring every patient receives individualised, evidence-based care. Key Duties Act as clinical expert and first point of contact for patients with urological cancers Deliver specialist advice, education and emotional support to patients and families Develop and implement person-centred care plans Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise outcomes Contribute to service development, research and quality improvement initiatives Skills and Experience: We are looking for a nurse who is committed to excellence in palliative care and confident in managing complex caseloads. You will bring: Substantial experience in oncology and palliative care At least one year in a CNS role within a palliative setting A postgraduate qualification (or working towards one) in palliative care Strong leadership and communication skills A proactive, compassionate, and patient-centred approach Benefits We offer a range of benefits including flexible working and great career opportunities.
