We have an exciting opportunity for a Static Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join the on-site engineering team. You’ll take responsibility for delivering both reactive and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring critical systems remain safe, reliable, and compliant.

Job Description

As part of a close-knit M&E team, you’ll also oversee specialist sub-contractors, support supervisors and managers, and get involved in small project and installation work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, ensuring all work meets SLA requirements.

Support safe systems of work (SSOW) and compliance with ISS policies and procedures.

Act as HV/LV Authorised Person (if electrically biased), producing safety programmes and carrying out switching operations.

Monitor and understand critical systems, including HVAC, responding appropriately to changes in parameters and set-points.

Escort and positively engage with specialist sub-contractors on site.

Assist with small installation and project works as required.

Maintain effective communication with the client, ISS engineers, supervisors, and wider stakeholders.

Ensure accurate escalation and effective communication in the event of incidents.

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in M&E building maintenance.

Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., BTEC, City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering).

Strong technical skills with an electrical bias.

Good communication skills with experience working as part of a team.
