Summary
Installation Technician
Paying circa £33,000 per annum plus overtime. Based in South Glos / North Bristol - Permanent position working 7am to 5pm (45 hrs per week) Mon to Fri. Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking, Lunches provided.
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Installation Technician / Fitter to join our successful client based in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire. Due to ongoing growth and expansion, this is a new role within their company and will be reporting to the Operations Manager - the role would suit someone who has strong practical and mechanical fitting skills, and has carried out installation and fitting work in the past and is now looking for an opportunity to progress and develop. Experience within fitting and installing furniture would be ideal, however our client will welcome applications from outside their industry - eg Shop Fitters, Bench Joiners. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Duties of the Installation Technician / Fitter will involve:
-Delivering and installing products at customers premises
-Working alongside and sometimes overseeing other trades people - involvement in project work
-Completing all relevant paperwork, quality checks and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
-Carrying out snagging work and trouble shooting any issues
-Liaising with customers & doing follow up calls
The successful Installation Technician /Fitter will have previous experience working in a similar role - either as part of a team or independently. You will have good fitting / trade skills and be able to work to timescales and produce work to a very high standard. You must have a full UK driving licence as this role will involve covering the whole of the UK (no overnight stays required).
