A REWARDING CAREER THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Are you a compassionate and skilled Complementary Therapist who wants to make a real difference in people’s lives?
If so, we would love you to join us here at St. Andrew’s Hospice.

As one of the local leading providers of palliative and end of life care, St Andrew’s Hospice is a highly successful and forward-thinking charity offering both adult and children’s services. We reach over 800 patients and their families in Northeast Lincolnshire and our wider catchment area of Lincolnshire, Hull and East Yorkshire for our children’s services and are growing our services to meet the expected increase in need.

Complementary therapies play a powerful role in helping our patients with symptom control and providing emotional benefits, as we aim to make their lives a little easier at the most challenging time.
One of our patients recently shared, “I find that complementary therapies are really helpful for me. I can get my head in the right place, and that helps me cope with day-to-day things.”

As part of our Support and Wellbeing team, you will work closely with patients across adult and children’s inpatient and outpatient services, as well as their carers. You will also support staff and volunteers by providing person-centred therapeutic interventions.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate therapist who can help us deliver a high-quality complementary therapy service. You will need to have:
- A diploma in body massage and a second-degree Reiki as a minimum, and
- Post registration experience as a therapist (experience in a health care setting is highly desirable)
- Membership of a recognised professional association.

In return we offer you:

• Competitive salary.
• Contributory pension scheme.
• Excellent annual leave.
• Occupational Schemes.
• Life Insurance x 3 salary
• Paid Professional Registrations
• Access to excellent staff
benefits.
• Employee Assistance Programme
• Excellent CPD.
• Flexible working.
• Tolls paid for staff who live over the Humber Bridge.
• Lease Car Scheme (NHS Fleet)
• Long Service Reward Scheme

We would very much welcome applicants to look around our amazing facilities.
