Summary
The Education Network is recruiting for a dynamic and inclusive college dedicated to supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), aged 16–25, to achieve their full potential. The college provides a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every learner is encouraged to develop their skills for independence, further education, and employment.
We are seeking a committed and adaptable SEN Cover Supervisor / HLTA to join our team. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting learners working at a KS1 level.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise classes across a range of subjects, delivering pre-prepared work to SEN students aged 16–25.
Provide individualised support to learners, ensuring lessons are engaging and accessible.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive, respectful learning environment.
Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
Work closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure continuity of provision.
Maintain accurate records and feedback on learner progress as required.
About You:
Experience working with young people with SEN in an educational or care setting is essential for this role.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting learners.
