Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Cleaning Operative to join the Norwich City Service Limited (NCSL) team. If you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
About the role:
This role involves performing a range of cleaning duties across various locations—including offices, car parks, public toilets, and sheltered housing—while adhering to NCSL and client policies. The post holder is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness through routine and non-routine tasks, using equipment and chemicals safely and effectively. They must comply with Health & Safety regulations, follow work schedules and deadlines, communicate clearly with management, and complete necessary documentation such as timesheets and vehicle logs. Flexibility is essential, as additional duties or overtime may be required, and the role includes ongoing training and development to ensure a consistently high-quality service.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements and demonstrate a high standard of customer service, reliability, and punctuality. Essential qualities include the ability to operate cleaning machinery for carpets and hard floors, follow both verbal and written instructions accurately, and communicate effectively. They must be capable of working independently or as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols. A full driving licence is required, and while previous cleaning experience and BICSc training are desirable, they are not mandatory.

This role is for 37 hours per week, but to ensure flexibility and promote an inclusive workplace part time hours or a job share agreement will be considered.
