Summary


The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust has an exciting opportunity withinthe CAMHS Early Intervention Service (EIS) within Camden EIS. The role of the post holder would be to provide CAMHS input to the EIS, contributing to the overall development and running of the service. Clinically they will be responsible for working with young people (aged 14 – 21) who are Camden clients. The person will be accountable for a defined caseload of clients (up to 24), supported by the EIS multi-disciplinary team and will receive regular supervision from the Lead EIS CAMHS Nurse and Team Clinical Lead (where appropriate). They will be expected to work jointly with other members of the team offering specialist CAMHS advice, consultation and training as required. The post holder may supervise junior members of staff, take part in the general duty rota for Camden EIS (CAMHS and Adult) and be accountable for their work.

The post holder would maintain strong links with Camden CAMHS through attending workshops held by the Tavistock Clinic and the Camden CAMHS professional discipline meetings. The post holder will work alongside existing and developing networks within Camden CAMHS, particularly those related to outreach/community work and contribute to the development of these.
