The Project Manager plays a key role in driving the successful delivery of business-critical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Working within the organisation’s established project framework, the Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of initiatives - from inception to completion - ensuring alignment with business strategy, operational requirements, and stakeholder expectations.

Job Description

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, business units, and clients, ensuring clear communication, effective governance, and the application of best practice project management methodologies.

The Project Manager will be instrumental in embedding new processes, operating models, and technology solutions that deliver measurable value and sustainable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery to scope, time, cost, and quality requirements.

Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain robust project plans, resource schedules, and milestones, coordinating across teams to achieve delivery commitments.

Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, maintaining RAID logs and ensuring timely resolution.

Budget & Reporting: Monitor project costs, track variances, and support accurate forecasting and reporting to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, ensuring progress is transparent and expectations are managed.

Quality & Continuous Improvement: Ensure deliverables meet agreed standards, contributing to lessons learned and improvement initiatives within the PMO.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery.

Knowledge of structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).

Proficiency with business improvement tools and techniques.

Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.

Personal Attributes:

Detail-oriented and delivery-focused.

Proactive self-starter with excellent organisational skills.

Confident communicator and collaborative team player.

Resilient under pressure, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
