We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individuals to the role of Money Matters Caseworker in the Money Matters Team. The Money Matters Team provides a full welfare rights and money advice service
About the role
As a Money Matters Caseworker, you could start the day helping a client in crisis and end it researching the finer points of managed migration before writing a PIP appeal submission. On the way, you might make referrals for debt advice or help someone to access employability support. From providing one off advice, working with partners to help people remove barriers to achieve their goals, and supporting clients with multiple complex cases two days are never the same for a Money Matters Caseworker.
About you
You're an experienced adviser with recent and substantial experience providing a welfare rights service up to and including acting as a representative to support service users during benefit appeals. You're able to demonstrate your work with clients through professional and efficient case recording, and you keep your clients feeling supported throughout the advice process. You set clear goals and maintain high standards of work through busy periods. You contribute to a positive environment and work, and you're open to trying new ways of working for the benefit of customers, contributing to the effectiveness of the team and the service.

- Money Matters Caseworker - 2 roles available both fixed term until 30 Sept 2027
- 37 hours per week with agile working
- 18 hours per week with agile working
- Salary is £36,991 per annum (pro-rata) plus a Karbon car payment of £2,317 per annum (pro-rata)
- Location: Stanley or Gosforth
